Poly Postal Packaging have been manufacturing and stocking our Silver Mailing Bags now for about 8 years.  The Silver Mailing bags are very popular indeed with all customers.  The Silver Postal Bags look great and look even better when printed with a custom design.  The Silver Mailing Bags really stand out with their Metallic Silver finish.  We also manufacture these polythene metallic mailing bags in 2 other colours, Gold Metallic Mailing Bags and Metalic Blue Mailing Bags.  Due to the special polythene we use, our Silver Mailing Bags are also lightweight and strong.  Postage costs will be reduced when using a strong lightweight mailing bag.  We manufacture the Silver Postal Bags on site here in the UK, as we do all our mailing bags.  The Silver Mailing Bags are manufactured from our special 3 layer COEX blended polythene film.  Metalic Silver on the outside, a middle unseen layer of white and then black on the inside of the bags.  The Postal Bags  are glossy on the outside.  We specially treat the film in the manufacturing process so that the glue on the lip sticks permanently as it should and to ensure that the polythene film accepts stamps and your address labels etc.

The Silver Mailing Bags are manufactured at 50mu / micron which is classed as a light duty film and so is very light weight, yet still retains great puncture resistance and strength as it is made from 3 layers of film.  The mailing bags are 100% Recyclable.  If you need bags for items with sharp edges and heavy in weight then ideally you should be looking at our Heavy Duty Mailing Bags.

MANUFACTURING TRADE TOLERANCES ON MAILING BAGS

Specification:  All sizes and thicknesses are approximate.  Standard tolerances are in line with industry standards.  However, note in particular that bag width may vary by +/-3mm or +/-3% and bag depth by +/-3mm or +/-3% which ever is the greater.  Where size is critical, a sample of the product to be packed must be submitted to us in order to agree size tolerances before the acceptance of your order.

Thickness/Gauge/(mu):  +/-10% by weight.

Quantity Variation:  The quantity despatched and charged for and to be regarded as completion of order ( subject to part shipped orders ) may vary from that ordered by +/-10%.  All mailing bags are labelled as approx in line with the industry standards.  If you require that your packs of mailing bags are supllied as exact qty figures, ie 50 or 100 etc, then please Get In Touch for details.
