Totally Clear and Self Seal Mailing Bags.   Ideal for getting your brochure noticed. High performance Oxo-bioegradable* films with excellent clarity. Typically used for brochure magazines/catalogues, they offer substantial savings in postage as they are lighter than paper, waterproof and still strong. Bags can be supplied as plain bags or with white write on panels and are available in a variety of standard stock sizes.

* The term ‘Oxo-biodegradable’ is a hybridisation of two words, oxidation and biodegradable. It clearly defines a two step process initiated by an additive called 'Reverte' to degrade the polythene film and make it available for biodegradability within the environment when a bag has finished its useful life, usually within a set time period depending on the % added.  1% would trigger in around 6-8 months.

The additive is designed specifically to address the issue of plastic waste that gets into the environment and cannot be realistically collected. It has been used in numerous PE and PP applications for many years and now. For more information about 'Reverte' click this link.

MANUFACTURING TRADE TOLERANCES ON MAILING BAGS

Specification:  All sizes and thicknesses are approximate.  Standard tolerances are in line with industry standards.  However, note in particular that bag width may vary by +/-3mm or +/-3% and bag depth by +/-3mm or +/-3% which ever is the greater.  Where size is critical, a sample of the product to be packed must be submitted to us in order to agree size tolerances before the acceptance of your order.
